Khangshung, the east face of Everest is by far the most beautiful & is relatively unknown to most visitors.
We fly to Kathmandu or Lhasa (optional) & drive across the Tibetan hinterland as far as Kharta where we meet our Sherpa team from Nepal. And then begin our trekking in alpine desert. Yaks will carry all your baggage & camping gears. Three of the world's highest peaks, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu overlook the Kama valley & Kangshung Valley.
Then drive to the fabled Rongbuk Monastery for a look at Everest's North Face & continue by road to Kathmandu or Lhasa.
